ABOUT THE EXPERT:

From Argentina and based in the US, Agustin has over a decade of experience as a community organizer and local movement builder. Since 2016, he has been spearheading Roots, a Greenpeace initiative centered on climate justice that works with youth at the local, regional, and international level to drive policy change. Agustin is an expert in mobilizing towards a common goal. He is a skilled trainer and facilitator, utilizing his knowledge of community building and movement work to help individuals and groups develop skills and build capacity to make meaningful change. Having worked across the world in diverse contexts, Agustin has a deep understanding of global climate related dynamics and the intersection with social justice and political frameworks. For the past two years, he has led the development of the Climate Justice Camp, a novel annual platform that brings together over 450 young climate leaders from across the Global South to network, strategize, and develop collaborative campaigns.
