ABOUT THE EXPERT:

Brian Chou supports WWF’s Ocean Markets and Finance initiative and its supply chain sustainability and transformation work. He collaborates with industry-leading corporate partners and engages their supply chains to set commitments around sustainable seafood sourcing, monitor their progress, and report on it for multiple audiences. He also informs the Oceans strategy around fisheries engagement, mitigating ecosystem impacts, and marine resource management through market data.

Brian co-founded and now leads the WWF’s employee resource group APEX, which advocates for the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community both at WWF and in the broader conservation space while supporting organizational DEI initiatives.

Brian graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (with an Operations and Supply Chain Management focus) and a minor in Quantitative Science (through the School of Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences).
