Dawn C. Curtis is a visionary leader with more than two decades of professional experience dedicated to championing social justice and promoting energy democracy within underserved communities. A graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, she also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from the University of Phoenix. As the driving force behind Grassroots Impact, Inc., Dawn’s mission is clear: to tirelessly advocate for policies that pave the way to a more equitable society. Her personal and professional journey is a testament to unwavering commitment, a pursuit of justice for the underprivileged, and a voice for the voiceless. Moreover, Dawn is an active member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), where she chairs the Environmental Justice Committee. She also contributes to the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Psi Theta Omega Chapter, leading the Social Justice Committee. Whether delivering targeted resources to vulnerable populations or spearheading issue-based campaigns that unite these same communities, she embodies the spirit of a true social justice champion.
