ABOUT THE EXPERT:

N. McKeller Crosby is a champion of marginalized communities through their support for affordable and sustainable housing as a Realtor and Investor. Nat’s success is attributed to their passion for service whether in real estate or in their community. Also, as President of the Richmond LGBTQ Chamber, Vice President of UGRC (Black Pride RVA), and Board Chair of Side by Side they are on a relentless quest for Inclusion, Equity and Justice for Black, POC,and Queer people and businesses throughout Central Virginia. These underserved communities are near to Nat’s heart and encouraged them to create opportunities for fellow community members. Nat through the Richmond LGBTQ Chamber began a member relief fund to serve underbanked LGBTQ businesses in the wake of COVID-19.

In their work for the community, Nat strives to help community members secure sustainable and gainful employment through their partnerships with Virginia Community Colleges to give low cost access to career training in various trades programs. As a member of the Virginia Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy’s Paid Family and Medical Leave Advisory Board; Nat is an advocate of Paid Leave for All, a social insurance program providing 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave. In service to the City of Richmond, Nat cochaired the Use of Force subcommittee for the Reimagining Public Safety Task Force.

Nat has been featured in many media outlets including CNN Business, CBS Moneywatch and The Huffington Post. They believe a sustainable economy can only be achieved when all members of society are able to equitably participate.
