ABOUT THE EXPERT:

Yejide Olutosin is the Director of Business Climate Finance (BCF) at Impact Experience and a 2023 Emerging Leader for Climate Action. The BCF team collaborates with leading companies in decarbonizing financed emissions such as corporate cash and retirement accounts by aligning these assets with their climate and equity commitments. Yejide earned a B.A. from Howard University, where she was competitively selected to study in Dakar, Senegal as a Gilman Scholar. After college, she taught Math in French and led malaria programming activities in Guinea-Conakry, West Africa as a volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps. Continuing her focus on enriching the lives of those in developing countries, Yejide spent half a decade partnering with global energy sector stakeholders to increase national energy access levels in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. After pivoting her career to combine what she does best, helping others achieve their ambitions and her keen understanding of the financial markets, she received a Forté Fellowship to attend George Washington University, where she earned her M.B.A. in May 2021. Yejide’s appreciation for responsible investing would lead her to advise sophisticated high-net-worth clients on wealth management strategies to achieve their important goals at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
