ABOUT THE EXPERT:

Dharma is the Climate Justice and Clean Air Advocate for GreenLatinos, where she centers the priorities of diverse Latino/a/x communities on the federal stage. Previously, Dharma worked at Environmental Advocates NY engaging in water equity and clean water policy in New York. Dharma spent her college years as a community organizer and activist committed to fossil fuel divestment and abolishing the prison industrial complex.

Dharma’s Puerto Rican roots have grounded her work in resiliency, joy, and comunidad. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Environmental Science and minors in Agricultural and Natural Resource Law and Sustainability Studies.
