ABOUT THE EXPERT:

As an advocate for environmental justice and sustainability, I currently serve as a Zero Emissions Policy Intern at CALSTART in Pasadena, leveraging my foundational knowledge of environmental policies. In this role, I conduct research on clean transportation topics and contribute to ongoing Zero Emission Vehicle initiatives in the Southeast. Previously, as a Federal Affairs Intern at the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) in D.C., I focused on researching equity and environmental justice impacts. I collaborated with the EJ Policy Manager to integrate equity into EDF’s strategy and develop effective coordination processes. My professional commitment to environmental justice began during my internship at the South Fulton Institute in Atlanta. As a Resource & Communications Intern, I conducted demographic research and significantly enhanced social media analytics. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University, providing a solid academic foundation for my environmental advocacy journey.
