ABOUT THE EXPERT:

Graise has over 20 years of experience working within c*science, academic, non-profit, state, and federal sectors. Graise’s work has focused on delivering communication, outreach and collaborative decision-making strategies, internal leadership development, organizational culture change, and amplifying historically excluded voices through narrative analysis and qualitative research for conservation and environmental organizations, most recently as a co-founder of Resolve Conservation. Graise has a PhD in Conservation Biology, a MS in Natural Resource Management, a Post-Bac in Environmental Science and in Global Social Entrepreneurship and a BA in Communication Studies. She is currently a commissioner on the IUCN Education and Communication Commission, participating in the Nature Education for Sustainability Network and Youth Engagement and Intergenerational Partnerships Network and part of the NSF funded IDEAL (Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable, Accessible, Large-scale (IDEAL) Participatory Science initiative) Citizen Science Working Group. Graise is a trained facilitator and equity coach, Dare to Lead (c) trained, and a co-founder of Asian American Women in Conservation (AAWiC) Network.
