Erica Mertens is the Town of Truckee’s first Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Manager. Erica previously led the small mountain town’s sustainability programs, and is familiar with creating culture change in a tight-knit community with a tourism-based economy. She is skilled at community engagement, creating meaningful partnerships, and thinking creatively to reach historically underserved and hard to reach populations.
