As of September 2023, Roz Jenkins integrates expertise in public policy, performance management, supplier inclusion, and workforce development to her latest role as Service Equity Program Manager for Seattle City Light, where she has served since June 9, 2021. Jenkins’ portfolio spans the non-profit, for-profit, and government sectors. Her contributions include serving as a Special Assistant in two gubernatorial administrations; partnering/organizing with communities of color to craft and enact statewide legislation and budget measures; technical trades workforce development in HVAC/R and building efficiency; WMBE inclusion supporting clean energy deployment; policy and program design supporting “green careers” pathways; and, equity advisement/advancement for transportation electrification and building efficiency. Jenkins holds a Master’s in Public Administration, a Bachelor’s in Broadcast Media, a Black Belt in LEAN/Six Sigma, and certifications in PROSCI, digital media, integrated marketing, and web technology. Jenkins also has completed a 170-hour “Intro to HVAC” training course and holds OSHA 10 and EPA 608 Type 2 certifications. Jenkins has served on the Thurston County Water Conservancy board, various other statutory committees/councils, homeowners associations, nonprofit boards, and the Alumni Board of The Evergreen State College. She also is an avid gardener and “pet parent” to a miniature Schnauzer, Chloe “The Bopper” Jenkins.
