ABOUT THE EXPERT:

Tracey Lewis is Policy Counsel in the Climate Program at Public Citizen. Here, Tracey represents the organization before Congress, federal agencies and in the media on matters related to climate-related risks to capital markets and our financial system. At Public Citizen, she also coordinates grassroots lobbying efforts with coalition partners, while also working with community partners and advocates. Additionally, she provides strategic counsel, assists in crafting and executing legislative, regulatory, and political strategies to achieve federal policy goals. Tracey is also a member of the Treasury Department’s Financial Stability Oversight Council [FSOC], Climate-related Financial Risk Advisory Committee [CFRAC], and a Fellow at the Climate & Community Project, a progressive climate policy think tank developing cutting-edge research at the climate and inequality nexus. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Spelman College and a J.D. from Vermont Law School.
