ABOUT THE EXPERT:

Vasudha Desikan is the Deputy Director of Public Citizen’s Climate Program. Vasudha comes from a long history of campaigning with low-wage workers in the labor movement. Vasudha has led national and state corporate and legislative campaigns for worker and racial justice at the Action Center on Race and the Economy, United for Respect, and SEIU. Her work has led to material gains in working conditions for workers and has shone a spotlight on the harms perpetuated by major corporations and financial firms on communities of color and the environment. She holds an M.A. in international relations from American University and lives in Oakland, California.
