Workplace mentoring is essential because of the benefits it can bring, such as employee retention, the development of leadership skills, and overall improvement in work culture. However, for mentoring to be effective, it must be equitable, ensuring that all employees, regardless of their background or position, have access to quality mentors. Implementing mentoring practices not only promotes individual growth but also contributes to a more inclusive and cohesive organization.
